1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our platform.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Products and Pricing

• All prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (¥) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice.
• Product images are for illustrative purposes only; actual products may vary slightly.
• We strive to ensure accurate product descriptions; however, we do not warrant that descriptions are complete, reliable, or error-free.

4. Orders and Payment

• Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order.
• Payment is processed securely through our payment partners (Stripe, GMO, PayPay, Paidy, or Cash on Delivery).
• An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance; acceptance occurs when the order is dispatched.
• We are not liable for payment failures caused by third-party payment providers.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 1–3 business days. Delivery times vary by location and shipping method selected at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or force majeure events. Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery.

6. Returns and Refunds

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform.
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the platform's operation.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform without our written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of HalalStore Japan or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Affiliate Programme

Participation in our affiliate programme is subject to separate Affiliate Terms. Commission rates, payment schedules, and eligibility requirements are detailed in the affiliate dashboard. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the programme at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HalalStore Japan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
